Our Professional Team

Jetzabel Morales-Pastrana, Founder, Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor

Hello, and welcome. I’m a bilingual (Spanish-English) Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Clinical Supervisor based in Arizona. Since 2010, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals on their path toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.

I’m the founder and owner of Mi Gente Behavioral Health in Mesa, Arizona, where I offer psychotherapy and clinical supervision. My approach is rooted in person-centered and trauma-informed care. I provide a space that is culturally and gender-affirming, where you can feel seen, accepted, and supported just as you are.

Over the years, I’ve helped people navigate a wide range of challenges, including trauma, emotional distress, relationship issues, life transitions, and work-related stress. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their unique needs and strengths, and to foster healing and resilience.

I know that starting therapy can feel overwhelming—and sometimes we don’t know exactly where or how to begin. That’s okay. I’m here to walk with you at your pace. Together, we’ll work toward healing past wounds, building a meaningful life, and moving closer to the version of yourself you want to be—all in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Yazmin V. Joglekar, Therapist

Three words which describe my therapeutic style are: patient, non-judging, and compassionate. I strive to create a non-judgmental and safe space that encourages collaboration and sharing to help individuals be able to heal and grow.

I have experience working with individuals and families experiencing trauma, anxiety, life transitions, sadness, adjustment and communication issues, and other needs. I have a decade  of experience working with immigrant families supporting them as they adapt and adjust to their new environment. I speak Spanish and mostly work with women and Latinx.

I am an immigrant from Mexico City, and I grew up in Arizona. There were many obstacles my family and I overcame when we first arrived in this country; a new language and adjusting to a new culture, being two of them. My life experiences inspire a and influence my work in many ways, and I carry my work with deep compassion for people who are suffering.

Sheila M. Delgado Cardona, Therapist

I am a licensed social worker with over 20 years of experience, specializing in supporting individuals and families through life’s most complex emotional and relational challenges. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and a deep understanding of the immigrant experience.

As an immigrant myself, I know firsthand the courage it takes to build a new life in a different country. This journey has shaped my passion for serving multicultural communities—especially the Latino community—who face unique stressors and transitions while pursuing their dreams in the United States. Through this work, I’ve come to see resilience not just as a strength, but as a pathway to healing and transformation.

I offer safe, supportive spaces in Spanish for individuals and groups to explore and grow through challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment, grief, addiction, family conflict, and relationship difficulties. I am also trained in family and marriage therapy and serve as a conflict mediator.

Creativity and art are essential tools in my practice, allowing clients to express themselves in meaningful, healing ways. Whether you are navigating a major life transition or looking to reconnect with yourself or your loved ones, I am here to walk alongside you with respect, insight, and hope.
